This is such a lovely necklace. The semi-opaque peridot beads are a crisper, brighter shade of green than jade or aventurine. The centerpiece dzi bead is made of a type of Tibetan agate I wasn’t previously familiar with. I have since learned that these beads have cultural and spiritual significance and are thought to serve as protective amulets. This special necklace looks beautiful and feels wonderful to wear. I have sensitive skin, and the necklace is comfortable and relatively lightweight.
